During Baylor Energy Madness, students compete as a residence hall team to save energy in their residence hall and earn points through different activities throughout the competition. Baylor Energy Madness is not only aimed at encouraging students to conserve electricity and water (environmental resources), but it is also designed to provide feedback on more efficient ways to save energy on campus. Each residence hall has one or more volunteer team managers. These are students who will take a leadership role to educate and motivate their fellow students. The hall that saves the most energy becomes the Energy Champion and the hall that earns the most points through activities is the Energy Stars winner.
